Korean - Hankido (Han means "Nation" and Ki means "Life Energy" and thus Hankido means inherent spirit of the Korean Nation) is a Korean martial art that was created by Grandmaster Jae Nam Myong in 1992 (whom also created "Hankumdo", a Korean sword art to complimemt Hankido). It is a modified version of older Korean arts that has easier learning curve and ease of application. It it meant for defense and you use the least amount force necessary to control the attacker (like Aikido). There are 12 basic self-defense and 24 breathing techniques. The offensive techniques (Chun Ki Bup) are inteaded to increase internal power. Defesive techniques (Ji Ki Bup) will improve muscles, bones, and organs.

Korean - Hankumdo is a Korean sword art created by Grandmaster Jae Nam Myong (also created Hankido). It is based on the Shapes of the Korean alphabet or Hangul. The art is divided into defensive and offensive and there are 5 basic strikes. With these 5 strikes it is possible to write the 24 different characters of the alhpabet. The defensive techniques are based on the same principles of Hankido.

Hapkido (hop-key-doe)
Korean - Hapkido is a Korean joint-locking martial art created by "Choi Yong Sul" and means "The art of coordinating energy." Until the 1960's it was also known as "Yu Kwon Sool", "Ho Shin Sool", and "Bi Sool". It is more of a stand up version of Jiu Jitsu combined with the footwork of Tae Kwon Do. Records indicate that the founder Choi Yong Sul studied in Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu for 30 years, though this is disputed, and then studied some Korean arts (Yu Sool, Tae Kwon Do and Yawara) and created Kapki Kwan. Ji Han Jae, the father of modern hapkido made his own school and called it Hapkido. HAP - Coordination, KI - internal energy (chi), and DO - art.
The style became popular in the U.S. after the movie "Billy Jack" came out and used Hapkido in its fight scenes.

This art is a complete art that includes striking, joint locking, graplling, pressure points and throwing techniques. It is based on circular defense, which means if a punch comes at you then parry it instead of blocking it. There is training in 72 different weapons (sounds like a lot to me too). They use the principle of being water cuz it can flow in harmony or it can crash (similar to the Bruce Lee concept).

Hong Tiger
Chinese - Hong Tiger is Shaolin Tiger with White Crane and Dragon Kung Fu influence. It is the Southern Black Tiger system. It is primarily for use against weapons and was developed for imperial guards. It is, pretty much, an abbreviated form of Hung Gar with more emphasis on White Crane rather than Tiger. It was a forbidden system used by government assassins and called Black Tiger for a while.
Hontai Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu (hone-tie rue ju-jut-su)
Japanese - Hontai Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu uses a lot of your common Jiu Jitsu techniques, but it adds weapons. The most prominent weapon is the Roku Shaku Bo or Cho Bo (6 foot staff) and the Han Bo (3 foot stick and thinner than the Cho Bo). The Bojutsu techniques are from the original Kukishin Ryu Bojutsu. Since then, these techniques have developed separately. In Hontai Yoshin Ryu they don't believe in keeping the hands in the center of the staff, but use them in various places at various times. They use a sword vs. staff kata for advance training.

Hop Gar
Chinese - Hop Gar Kung Fu (a.k.a. "Lion's Roar", "Lama Pai" and "Hsia Chia") became prominent during the Ching dynasty as the official system of the Manchu Emperor and his guard. Hop Gar is a sub style of White Crane Kung Fu. Ah Dat-Ta created a system based on the number 8 (very important in chinese Cosmology) and it consisted of 8 fist strikes, 8 palm strikes, 8 elbow strikes, 8 finger strikes, 8 kicking techniques, 8 seizing (clawing) techniques, 8 stances and 8 stepping patterns. It was called "Lion's Roar."

Hung Gar Kung Fu
Chinese - Hung Gar (a.k.a. "Tiger Crane Kung Fu") is a system that has remained relatively unchanged in time and developed by Hung TsiKuan. It is the combination of Tiger (long hand techniques) and Crane (short hand techniques). It consists of strong hand techniques with precise kicks. Originally practiced on moving boats, Hung Gar has powerful stances. Horse stance is the main one, but bow and arrow is used as well. Close range Tigers joint-locks, sweeps, takedowns, grab, and tear are used. The long-range attacks from Crane are used to attack the vital areas of the body.

Chinese - Hung Leng Kuen (means "Free Spirit Fist") was founded by Si-Gung J. R. Dutton around 1976. It is based off of Tiger, Mantis, Shaoling Long Fist, Tai Chi, and many others. You learn self confidence, flexibility, fitness, and respect to others. All techniques flow from one into another. Strikes are covered from all ranges of height and distances, along with rolls, throws, trips, locks, levers, chokes, and strangles. You will practice several weapons with at least 1 short-range, 1 medium-range, and 1 in long-range. There are many techniques of clawing and tearing at the vital organs and pressure points.

HupKwonDo
Korean - HupKwonDo is a Korean art that is basically advanced "Tae Kwon Do" and was created by Grandmaster "James Lim" around 1972. It takes Tae Kwon Do techniques, refines them, and expands upon them. In class, punches are thrown gently in the air to focus on technique, but working on the bag, the focus is on power. Instead of blocks, passing is done or interference.

Iaijutsu was a method of Kenjutsu and combative application was stressed while training. Iaijutsu was expanded and refined with spiritual and religious dimensions and Iaido was born. It is a non-combative art practiced for spiritual cultivation. It is also practiced for self-discipline, improved coordination, and for the sake of posterity.
Iaijutsu (ee-eye-jut-su)
Japanese - Iaijutsu was a method of Kenjutsu (art of the sword) that dates back to the 1700's. There are 4 stages: Nukitsuke (draw), Kiritsuke (cutting action), Chiburi (removal of blood from the blade), and Noto (return the blade back to its sheath). In short it is the art of drawing the sword, killing in 1 stroke, wiping the blood off, and returning it to its scabbard, all with minimum energy needed. It is suited for an armed encounter in every day life and not good for the battlefield. Training programs were created using action and reaction against mobile and some static targets. It is practiced with combative applications being stressed during training.

Inayan Larga Mano
Philippino - Inayan Larga Mano is a Philippino stickfighting art based on "Giron's Larga Mano." It uses a longer and heavier cane (40") and uses a cane like a "Kampilan", the longest sword in the Philippines. Inayan Larga Mano is credited to be the first complete formal style to use the Kampilan (some say this weapon was used to kill Magellan in 1521).

They do a heavy regiment of yogi (stretching postures), bethak (squats), dand (push ups), jori (swinging weighted wooden clubs), gada (swinging weighted ball and mace), and body massages.

German - The Individual Fighting Concepts Mallepree is a German Self defnse system. It is somewhat based on the concepts of Jeet Kune Do. The founders are Peter and Arndt Mallepree and they teach in their only school in Bochum, NRW, Germany.

African - The offenseive stick in Zulu stickfighting. It is har stick without a knob and made smooth and specifically for stickfighting. It is normally around 88 centimeters in length and the circumference increases slightly from bottom to top and the extra weight is what enhances the mobility of the stick. A piece of cowhide can be placed on their to ensure the fighters grip. A whisk of the cow's tail can be tied around the bottom to hide the sharp point. Though the stick has a sharp point is is not appropriate to use it during a honorable fight.

A form is 20 - 25 minutes long and should be done with tension in the body at all times and 8 iron rings on each forearm. The stances used are deep horse, normal upright, relaxed goat, snake, and arrow.

Isshin Ryu Karate (ee-sheen rue kah-rah-tae)
Japanese - Isshin Ryu Karate, which means "One Heart Method", is a form of Okinawan and was created by Grandmaster Tatuso Shimabuku in the 1950's. He started training at the age of eight and studied Shorin Ryu and Goju Ryu (both major styles of Okinawan). He also trained in weaponry and excelled in the Bo and Sai. He took his skills and created Isshin Ryu. It is suppose to be a no-nonsense art emphasizing simplicity. It develops the student's confidence, discipline, and respect.
Isshin Ryu Kusarigamajutsu (ee-sheen rue ku-sue-rhee-gah-mah-jut-su)
Japanese - Isshin Ryu Kusarigamajutsu is a Japanese art created by Nen Ami Jion in the 15th century. It includes techniques of the Kusarigama and Cho E Kama (I couldn't find any information on what a Cho E Kama is though). A Kusarigama is a small sickle with a long thin chain.
